Jap STi's have a low spoiler, the mirrors are not OEM but the rear arches etc look STi.

Is there a link to the deaaler website?

Can't give you any Info myslf but it looks like were both looking for similar cars... This one also pops up on my searches too, looks like it's been on Autotrader a while though..Good luck if you go and see it and let me know what you thought :-)

Nope, though the advert doesnt mention that its got DCCD or not, may be a lower spec car so watch out for that (no drivers pack, BBS alloys, DCCD-A and I think maybe the quick rack steering).

yeah

these are all matters that need addressing(services due etc)

if its not an sti then the previous owner has gone to great lengths(interior/brembos/wider rear track/archs/changing the hubs to fit 5x114 alloys blah blah blah)

anyone in the area of spalding fancy taking a gander for me

STI interior, STI clocks with 8k red line, auto and manual IC spray, 6 speed box and the low level spoiler was an optional extra in Japan, rear tinted windows, brembo brakes all round, clear front lights, sti bonnet scoop, looks pretty good to me

The bonnet scoop is a wrx sized one and not the larger Sti scoop.
Might be worth a look though. Try and get them to send you pics of the engine bay which will help.

Ah now this is actually explainable its probably due to the original date of registration in japan, if she is an early 05 model then she may end up as an 04 rather than an 05 on the reg or if not then its from the date of manufacture if not re registered in the UK in time

Default jdm sti 04

I have looked at this car 3-4 months ago its still at the same dealer..
There is a valid reason for the pictures where the car does not have a grill
please ensure you obtain the previous owners contact number as I did before you considder purchasing this car.
the garage has his details so dont let them tell you they dont have it.
information on this car is not recoreded!

53WRX

Well spotted the number plate "holder" should be black for this model !

May not not be the original front end then......likewise the WRX smaller scoop

Don't the alloys give it away as an STI.... unless someone changed all the hubs !

I think we all agree that it's an STi ......................but possibly with a rearranged front end

Sorry, works PC is S**T..... slowed to a halt and then must have scrolled to this end off the thread.... completely by-passing the middle !

No-LOL

dunx

P.S. I think the WRX scoop looks far less silly than the STI one, IMHO

I phoned them up about this car a while ago and asked a few questions about the grill etc and the bloke i spoke to said he thinks it had been in an accident that was enough info for me to not go any further.
