AM FOOKED OFF NOW LIKE

Default AM FOOKED OFF NOW LIKE

rite i had a post about my mates car few days ago he bought a s plate scoob wagon pretty mint like was running mint wen he got it got hame from only 30 mile journey went back out in it and now its in limp mode

rite took to garage put on sum computer thing for codes heres wat it said

3 faults crank sensor camshaft sensor and idle control valve he replaced all these then disconnected battery then re connected took for a spin all was back to running mint again like wen he got it then 15mins later back in limp mode wat does he do now


help much appreciated

Not really an option take it back to the garage and have it put back on the computer.

Well its pulling up 3 faults, think one of those could be the issue?

he replaced all 3, from what he is saying, best to take it back again to see what the new faults are

you can check the codes yourself see whats what you can also rest the ecu

Sounds like a speedo problem, it's a shared fault with the idle control valve, check the cable, speed senders in the speedo head and gearbox. Mine was doing exactly the same, it lets you drive normally for a while then because the ecu is not getting the feedback from the speedo and gearbox it sets it into limp home mode, even though it's running fine.

apologies if i sounded a little harsh was referin to sousefly about my way with wording no harm intended just lookin for help

ive just takin the clocks out and theres no speedo cable at all is it supposed to be cable or is it electrical in anyway as my own 94 wrx is cable and thought his mite be same this could be the problem

HELP MUCH APPRECIATED ONCE AGAIN

i had the same problem turned out it was my maf sensor i canged it and all 3 fault codes cleared
