I'm now, after such a maudlin posting, going to have to look out the "Kent Come Dancing" pics & post them again - just to remind everyone whats missing them
Back soon folks...

Hi Bruv ;-)
Pete, although sometimes you can be a complete ****, its 'personalities' like yours that makes this BBS so....so.....so... ermm......'interesting' (unlike imatruckas)
P.S. I could have a nice set of gold wheels for sale if you're interested.
ChrisB: First ever pax ride with me eh? Did you ever regain the nerve to go out again.

I do hope you'll still be around here?
just with different wheels?
My father (no pipe and slipper reference intended) has driven Saabs for years and currently had a 9-5 Aero... they make lovely cars.
Hope you enjoy the new car

As one of the people to have had the pleasure of being a passenger on track with you, thank you, it was awesome!
I hope this is not farewell for good, you are a top bloke and I would be very sad if it was.
Enjoy your new car and hope to see you soon.

David,
You know why my first track day at Bedford was a bit special.
At least you'll have the vid to keep the moment fresh in your mind
Thanks for the bits.
Don't be a stranger.

Well the deed has been done, I'm now the proud owner of a 2.0T 93 Convertible. Totally different on all counts to the scoob (except they both have 2.0l Turbo's) but I'm smitten. Not alot of sun today but the top was down when it was out. If you ignore the scuttle shake, its a very sound car and I'm gong to love every minute.

After three and a half happy years of scoob ownership, the day that nobody believed would happen finally has......I sold the scoob.
I have honestly never met a better/friendlier/more helpful bunch of people ever. No, really, I haven't
Special thanx over the years must got to Stef (for introducing me to track-days) Pete Croney (for helpful advice on track-days.....then selling me the kit to do it ) Phil (for starting the original Scoobynet) Simon DB (for turning scoobynet into what it is today, warts and all )
Steve Lawson (for many things, including Fridays at the peel) Andrew Barker (you know why) my Mum, Dad and everyone else that knows me
And to all the passengers I've ever taken on track: I hope you enjoyed it, I know I did.
Me, well I've joined the slipper and pipe brigade and swapped the scoob for a SAAB 9-3 convertible (turbo of course ) Handles like ****e but has a wonderful poise and is full of gadgets.
I wish you all well, and I'm sure for a few months yet, I'll not be able to stop the reflex action of a flash of the lights and a wave to an oncoming scoob.
So, be gentle with me, if a blue 9-3 convertible driver waves at you, please, just for a little while, wave back.
Good Luck, best wishes.
David.

Indeedy, David also gave me my "first time" :-)
A true gent and someone who made me very happy that I'd joined such a great crowd on the day after I'd ordered my first scoob.
(sorry mate, this all sounds like you've passed away or something)
Enjoy the saaaaaaaaaab and yeah, hopefully we will see you again some sunny day.

(edited to say, "when do we get Sunscreen 2?"
