Default WRX prodrive springs

I have a set of pro drive lowering springs that I am currently selling and I was told that they only fit bugeye wrx 2001 - 2002 model.

Now someone has e mailed me saying they only fit blobeye 2003 - 2005. I am in a bit of a dilemma as they are listed on e bay and I have stated that they only fit bug eye.

I have a stamped code on all the springs. Can anyone confirm what model they are for? Bugeye or Blobeye. Or can they fit both?

The code is WO3 / D5 / 001

Heres a pic

Regards

James

Dunno. Maybe worth a call to prodrive themselves?

I'm not ceratin but sometime Peeps do get mixed up with changes that are only on "STi's" and asssume same on "WRX's"

IIRC

suspension changes

Sti
2001-2003 bugeye
2003-2005 blob eye different rear Top mount diameter IIRC
2005-2008 hawkeye completely different struts and stud PCD
2008- hatch completely different struts

WRX
2001-2008 minor changes

Unlike some suppliers Prodrive had made springs a "STi's" and different one for "WRX's" due to different frontend weights

Prodrive changed suppliers of thier springs they "May" have different Part Numbers and slight rate changes between Model years for WRX's but IIRC MY2001-2007 WRX's are same "standard OEM spring"

I would contact either Prodrive enquiries@prodrive.com or Eibach sales@eibach.co.uk for the diffinative answer

Ok, so Tony's response may have been a tad better than mine.

your short answer is just as accurate as My long one

You now you'll never get just a one word answer from me but just showing were some confusion lies or just getting him more confused

I must learn to be more decisive and JUST say "Yes" or "No" but there again............................................

Thank you for the info.

So WRX prodrive lowering springs are the same for bugeye to blobeye then, but are different on the sti's.

Hi mate ,

Yes they are deffinately different on the STi

but not 100% sure if they are same OEM (original) springs on WRX springs through 2001-2007 but some minor differences in the Prodrive spring rates through 2001-2007.

Your selling them then i'd get 100% certain answer from a email from Ebach or Prodrive the address's are in my first post
