Think this is the problem for most, if you don't have 30+k to spend on a used merc, Porsche, rs4 etc anything else seems like a step back other than an evo for similar money to a scoob, looking to spend 15-20k on my next car but what do you buy to compare with a nicley modded p1

ive gone to an evo 8, not regretted it, in my opinion a much better sorted car only thing missing is the burble but with a straight thru 3" exhaust with blitz nurspec it does sound nice (dons flame suit and runs for the hills )

From: The hell where youth and laughter go
E46 BMW 325 touring Auto (horrible thing; it does everything, but does nothing well I still have it for towing my junk )
Monaro 6.0 VXR (much better - performance and comfort...but no boot )
E39 530sport (Stop-gap car; far better than the 325; as in it actually handles and goes)
Golf mkV R32 (much more practical, lovin it. Would love it even more with a supercharger )
Suffice to say I'm loving normal aspriration, no lag, instant throttle response; All driver's cars should be like that. Don't think I'll have a turbo car ever again, unless its a diesel.
(and during all that I had a Honda NSX as a second car)

I've gone from a UK Turbo 2000 to a Version 5 Type r
now the V5 was not quite enough so decided to drop in a 2.5, 300bhp and 350 ft lbs, now i'm more than happy
but if i had the cash, and a bigger garage, i'll take a Nissan Skyline R34
The choice they say... is yours... variety is the spice of life

I currently have a 04 STI (340Bhp) but thinking of changing to something more comfy, was thinking of a 330 Ci M Sport, as they are not exactly slow, but in the back of my mind I can't help thinking i'll get bored of it after a short while?
Unless I could afford an M3, which I can't without getting one thats done 70k +, then nothing really jumps out at me saying "i want one of those".
