Its been nearly a month from my first email and almost 2 weeks since the latest and no reply. Anyone get mapped by him recently? I got my car mapped by him earlier in the year but want to change a few things so will need him to alter the map...

Was mapped a few months ago, he got back to me no probs within a few days.
Are there any 1/4 mile events coming up cos I know things tend to be put on the back burner when he is trying to get his car set up for an event.
Keep trying you will get there in the end (will be needing to contact him myself soon as the car is going in on Thursday to get exhaust modified and induction kit fabricated)

Guys, he's a busy man.
Are your emails sensibly titled?
I get the impression Andy gets quite a lot of emails, and probably a bit like myself he probably deletes purely based on subject/email address - assuming they get past a spam filter in the first place.

Fair enough if he's busy I can understand that. Just I have been talking to others like myself that have had there car mapped by him and seem's to be the same story getting no reply so wondering is there any other reason bar been very busy. I am not giving out in the slightest about Andy F incase it is coming across that way, the guy is a gent and very good at what he does. Ill wait another few weeks and if no reply ill try again with subject attached as mentioned above.

Believe the best contact method for AndyF is phone. I'd suggest trying him a few times across the day - some people get tons and tins of emails and can't filter what is relevant from what is irrelevant easily so he might well just have to ignored the swamp of stuff he gets. A phone call, if he is able to pick up, then means he quickly gets to the heart of the query.

Took me a while to get hold of Andy first of all, tried by phone for a week or two both numbers, then managed to get hold of him via e-mail, that was to buy a turbo from him, since then he's mapped my car 3 or 4 times and has occasionally answered my calls and always replied to e-mail, glad i persisted Andy's a legend, my advise would be stick with the e-mails (check you've got the correct address) and keep them short and to the point.

Email is the best method. He always got back to me within three days. Very busy guy, but you'd never think it when he maps your car - Totally chilled and answers any questions you have at all. Never felt I was rushed with Andy, which makes a nice change to most garages etc.
Keep trying folks.

For the past 16 months I have in patiently calling and e-mailing Andy at regular intervals and he never picks up the phone or answers e-mails. He acknowledged receipt of my old ecu unit in April 2008 witch he verbally agreed to tune and since then I have not managed to speak with him. I feel a little disappointed but still persist because his professional reputation is such that i consider it worth.

I bet he gets countless emails from people who have absolutely no intention of actually using him. Asking questions about set ups etc. Not to say that is why he hasnt responded, I just bet he gets a ridiculous amount of mail, and some will get missed.
Never heard a bad word about him, so he must be worth it.
I used Bob Rawle, and he usually takes 24 hours to reply, but he takes time to reply thoroughly, and its not a quick few lines either. But I have also heard people struggling with Bob. Good mappers are clearly in demand. Stick with it.
