04 wrx remap, 95,97 or 99 ron

Default 04 wrx remap, 95,97 or 99 ron

hi guys, i,m looking for 280 bhp. morego get 278 with 95 ron with there 280 package using BBR starchip ecu remap. most tuners recomend 99 ron with ecutec remap getting the same results. whats best for me? any advice please. £1750.00 says i want to get it right 1st time, thanks for your time, jason

Id use 99 ron .

Whats included for £1750 then??? Sounds alot !

morego panel filter, silicone intercooler inlet and outlet boost hoses, bbr starchip ecu remap, stainless decat up pipe, 3 in stainless exhaust with 200 csi sports cat. power 278 bhp @6600rpm (18psi boost) torque 265 lb ft at 4500rpm (18 psi boost). it,s in jap performance august 08, anyone had similar package and how different does the car feel?

The brief answer for me should be - map the car for the fuel that is easily available in your area if it's daily driver.

That's what i'd do too. I'd go for 97 ron.

£1750 does seem a lot for 280hp, have you looked around for other options?

100 cell cat is preferred, as it's less restrictive, even if more expensive !

Andrew Carr can do an Open Source re-map for considerably less money !

i also asked at scoobyworld and their similar package is also over £1700.00, anyone recomend some other tuners close to burton on trent? maybe derby.
