Sorry guys this may seem or be a silly question but are the headlights off a uk blobeye sti the same as fitted to a jdm sti ?

Sorry guys should of explained a little, I want to do the black out mod on the headlights but rather than give it a go and mess up the originals I thought I would pick a used pair up, and was looking at a set from a UK car so I still have the originals. Will that be ok or as the jdm are hid will that cause a problem
