the problem with car covers is they scratch the car due to dirt on the car an the cover moving this is probably the best cover you can get to eliminate that

You can get motorbike covers that have a towel type material on the inside, this dries the vehicle and stops it scratching the paintwork as mentioned above. Oxford Stormex is the bike equivalent, see if you can find a car version of one of those.
