Don't know how you got on Phil but I didn't find anywhere selling the blue alacantara fabric in the right blue, found loads of blues but not the right one so decided as its just the door cards I'm going to use faux black suede.. I'm hoping to do mine tomorrow, I'll take some pics once its all back in.. If I'm happy with the black but tnot oo chuffed on the material I'll source some black alacantara instead and do it again ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Really pleased with the blue STI carpet in mine though, really finishes it off nicely..![Luxhello](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/luxhello.gif)

Morning Phil.
It's the newage sti one.. I done a lot of reading and found that the bugeye sti one fits ours, not 100% but to be honest no one would know unluess you pointed out the "dodgy areas ? Which are just down by the boot release is a little short and both sides by about 1/2 inch in the foot well, I'll take pics and show you tomorrow, so worth it though..
I looked into changing the front door cards too to the sti bugeye ones as that can also be done but I don't think I would be happy with them as some very obvious cutting would have been needed so decided to leave our originals in and cover them..
Give me 5mins, I'll do a bit of photobucketing, I did take a couple when the seats were out but of the carpet..

Dude, I'm a dude ![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
No, it tipped down last Sunday so we couldn't get the door cards off, not had a chance since but fingers crossed the rain stays away this weekend and they'll be done.. I'll take pics along the way though not that there should be a lot to it I should think ?
The carpet I put in mine was from a 2004, he said it would fit all the newage from 2000 to 2007 so I assume the floor pan must be the same up til then at least, I didn't say i was putting it in a classic as I knew it would fit apart form the couple niggles I mentioned... I got it from gradeasubaru £45.99, what a bargain..

Ha ha, no problem, quite funny really..
Don't know if you were wanting a carpet soon, but there is one on fleabay at the mo, it's a ten pounds more than I paid but the postage is a fiver cheaper.. They don't come around that often either..

Hi Phil
Managed to get the door cards done last weekend, wasn't too bad once I'd got the hang of it which I did on the last one
I think I would still like to re do them in the blue as the black is a kinda greyish black, just got to find the right blue but it still looks a lot better than the blue tweed effect..
I have been talking to a guy on an American site who is trying to source the correct blue and already cut to size for about £40. He did have it but then his supply stopped but he's trying to re source some so I asked him to let me know if he gets it in.. I'm lovin the blue carpet in there though
I've also sprayed the roof lining black which is a huge improvement and the visors, just need to finish off the other little bits but I done a test run on a couple of other odd bits in the same plastic in case it came off but so far so good..

Morning guys..
The paint I used on the lining is UHT Penetrating Colour dye from USAutomotive in Black Satin, says its suitable for the following
• Car Seats
• Consoles
• Kick Panels
• Gauge Pods
• Dashboards
• Boat Seats
• Floor Mats
• Motorhome Carpets
• Boat Interiors
The other forum I was on was rs25.com also a friendly bunch and the guy I was mailing username is RIPTT USA, this is what he said to me, only came across him by sheer luck. I have asked him to keep me up to date so fingers crossed..
I have a blue microsuede but it not perfect to the sti blue, it is one shade lighter. I am working on getting the perfect match I used to have it and then they discontinued it
The kits have 4 pieces of fabric that are perfectly precut and with my instructions and glue it is a pretty easy job. Price is only $33.50 but I don't know how much longer this will last!
If you want some samples I have blue, gray, and black microsuede; black, black w/perforations, gray, dark gray, blue, and green faux leather; lastly I have red, blue, and black tweed.
Thanks, Andy
I did say to him get his name up on here as there will be a lot of interest in the door card coverings..

door cards came out ok
just lucky you have the easy cards to trim
it's not as easy on the older door cards
don't know why you would get your fabric from america as you can get it over here
and you would have to pay duty on it
i have lots of micro fiber red fabric and can get all the other colours too so cant see why you can't ![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
i would have took the roof lining off and done it in suede than to spray it black just my opinion tho

Hi..
Your not wrong, I did see the earlier cards and thought they'd be a bugger to cover.
Do you know I emailed at least 30 people about material and got several replies with samples and none were the same match of blue and some of the prices were really crazy too. I will re do them next year though and have learnt a lot this time around for when I do..
I funnily enough stumbled across this guy in America, I was searching something on google to do with the door cards and their forum popped up and amongst the replies was he just talking about his pre cut kits he does for $35, he said he would mark it as a gift so no duty would be paid but he has lost his supplier for the right blue that I want but by the time he gets a new supplier I may have found some over here.
I was considering covering the head lining in suede when it was out but then thought as it will now be so dark in there you wouldn't be able to tell unless I had the urge to stroke it so I took the quick option. I didn't have enough material to hand and the spray can was calling me ? Again when I do the door cards next year I might just to the lining then..
I have bigger probs at the moment though, something which I suspect to be the gearbox is making nasty noises in 4th & 5th at low speeds, well thats when I can hear it anyway

I'm 99.9% sure they all fit but not too sure on the very new shape Subaru, I had to use the original seat belt doo dahs off of mine and the runners were the ones that came with the seats (2004). The Drivers side does sit a tad higher although I'm only 5.6 tall so after re adjustment I couldn't notice it, I'm very pleased, its well snug in there
Your door cards look briliant, good picture shot with both doors open, love the choice of fabric..

Did you have to change all of your door handles/electric window switches to fit the blob door cards. Only asking because I have some new seats and have the blob doorcards, but the door furniture looks different so I may have to re-trim my originals, which is a shame because the newer door cards are much smarter
