I totally agree with you there mate, there's a time and a place for fun and games like that, a set of unwritten rules that we all abide by, No.1 being NEVER with your kids in the car. Hope this melon gets a 2 year ban and a big **** fine

Was this two scoobs racing and one BMW getting tangled up?

(otherwise how does the NSF of one car hit the NSR of another )

Ahh that makes more sense: BMW wasn't racing.

Did the 2nd scooby stick around or did it leave the scene?

It's a good thing beemers are solid-built motors. Terrible that the kid was injured, but might have been a lot worse in some flimsy hatchback tin-can.

Sh*t as it is, the MIB will pay for the damage to their car and for their personal imjuriy, where thats appropriate.

In circumstances like this its appropriate for the second driver to be prosecuted too: and its likely that he will be.

mib take forever to pay out and injuries are not normally covered iirc

Bmw insurer will probably settle with policyholder and then mib pay the insurers again iirc

The bmw was mine, and no we wernt racing with two children in the back of the car, it was two subarus racing and we got caught up in the middle. Thankfully the subaru has come up with ins but he is placing the blame on us becoz we crossed his path however it doesnt help wen u skip a red light at about 70 on a 40 now, does it. My partner is in the police station now givin his version of events and i hope they see it was their fault. My children are terrified of gettin into the car now and iv lost one of the best cars i ever had. Im so proud of it, it did its job and protected my family and now becoz sum **** cant handle his car, iv lost it

Why would that make you want to sell your car? It doesnt matter what car you have they are all driven by an idiot some where.

Also theres a thing called motortrade insurance the impreza was probably covered by that which would be why it hasnt come up on the database (no doubt it was being used wrongly).

Also to the poor lass that has been hit by the impreza. I think you should be pretty proud off yourself for buying a car you knew that would protect your family. If its any help I got hit last year with my 3 year old on the back a couple off days later he had forgot all about it. i hope yours will be the same.

Also please dont assume that people that drive imprezas are all idiots with a death wish. I think you wil find that all off us on this sight wil be on your side.

One last tip, You will probably find that the first thing the bloke in the impreza has done is approached a claims company for whiplash etc can i suggest you do the same and fight fire with fire. I wish you the best off luck and hope you are all ok

thanks for that.
im not one to brand everyone with the same brush, we had a subaru impreza ourselves not that long ago and didnt drive the way that a******e did.

we already have a solicitor on the case and hopefully we have a strong one as he was arrested at the scene on suspision of dangerous drivin. But as he wont admit it was him we have a long battle on our hands and we just hope his story gets blown to pieces and lady luck will help us

Took me nearly 3 years to get injuries and the money back from an uninsured driver who ran a red light into my gleaming virtually new (6 month old and I had her for 2.5hrs) 306 GTI-6
Hope the uninsured driver gets hung out to dry, dangerous driving or atleast undue care and attention, no matter that will add up to 12 points and a lenghty ban, jail would be appropriate though.
