OK I realise it is all things to all men, but...
Just walked down to Halfords in the Mile End Road to get a GB sticker, beam converters etc.
Parked in the car park is a "Y" registration Mitsubishi of some model or other. Typical East End old vehicle, seven dents in every panel, bumpers hanging off and paintwork in five non-matching shades of white (by Dulux I think).
The interior catches my eye - and when I look further, it is totally done out, front and back, including headrests, in GOLD button down vinyl!!!!!!!
Well, thinks I, that's a bit different - and the first person I think of is Pete Lewis!!!
So, Pete, do you want me to find out who re-upholstered it so we can club together and buy you a gold plastic interior for your birthday???
