whats it worth? PICS ADDED
56 plate
WR Blue
JDM STI
40k
Vv clean inside and out, just the usual stone chips on the front
Serviced every 5k
Every bit of paper work present (service sheets, receipts etc)
Powerstation type 20 kit (all receipts and graph)
front splitter,sti mudflaps
Had a new exedy organic clutch fitted as the old one felt high and was def not slipping, just for a piece of mind.
Anyone got a rough idea what its worth?

I thought the jdm was more superior than the uk sti?
ive had both and the jdm is much better in my opinion, seems strange how the same age car has a differing price range of potentially 5k?

Not looking for a trade in, private sale if I do
I was dubious about buying a jdm due to the history of these vehicles, mine was here from new so no probs with that and its been serviced every 5k sweet as a nut lol

id say at very most its worth 12k being a jap import and being able to get a limited edition 07 rb320 with ppp being 320bhp now for 20k, gb270 for 15-16k
good examples

13k for a uk model sti with low milage and im sure you could get it down to 12k from dealership
so being a jap import will be worth less
and a spec d for 14k with very low milage

I know someone thats just got £13k for his 2003 Spec C from an insurance company. Keep the price similar/higher than the UK equivalent and wait fo someone in the know/someone that wants a JDM and you'll get good money for it. Don't listen to the above poster, seems to be on a bit of a mission.

jdm is worth more than uk car because its a better car, just wait for a buyer that knows what he's looking for and you'll be reet

Some people on here seem determined to talk the prices of cars down for some reason. Yes, there will always be people who need quick sales and some dogs dinners like accident repaired cars but the market value of this car in a good private sale is £11-14+k. You shouldn't go lower than £13k IMO.
£15k for a new WRX is not a bad price but it is not in the same league, or price bracket for that matter, as an STi JDM or UK. A pointless comparison.
OP - set your price and stick to it and you will get what you want eventually from a genuine buyer. It just takes a bit longer to shift a car in the current financial climate.
