As above i was driving at 50mph as i put my foot down the car wouldn't move it was running like a rite bag of s**t but after about 5 mins it was normal again. When i got to where i was going i left the car running for about 2-3 minutes it sounded totally normal but when i went to set off it started to have no power again.
Then again after about 2 minutes it was normal again. There was no problem at all after the 2nd time it did it i drove home 20 miles ish and it was all ok.
What would cause this?
Thanks in advance

my uk98 did something like that once, i put my foot down when i entered a 60 zone, got just above 50 and the car jerked and lost all power, was really slow!! dump valve didnt work and i couldnt hear the turbo so i thought it was the turbo. took it to a mates garage, he had a look at it, took exhaust off and looked at turbo which he said was fine, put exhaust back on and it was working fine again. no probs like that since. dunno what caused it tho.
