Afternoon all, Can anyone please tell me if there is a difference between a Type R linkage and a uk 2000 turbo linkage, i was under the assumption that the type R Linkage was similar to the Prodrive kit and offered a shorter and more sporty feel when going through the gears but a garage has told me that the linkage wont make a diference



All advice much appriciated

Not sure - the Type R has a short ratio gearbox - think the linkage is the same as 'standard' classics, but not 100% sure.

I always thought Sti and type R had quickshift, so i might have just bought the exactly the same linkage thats fitted to my car already??


Can anybody confirm this for me please!

Does anybody know if the version 4 type R came with quick shift? i know they have a short ratio box but im not sure about the linkage!
