Exhaust burble ??

No.
My hawkeye with a blitz sounds exactly the same as my mate's 2.0 bug.
iirc it's only JDM STIs that come standard with equal length headers for the twin scroll setup. ELH are better performance wise, but don't sound as good imo

my wrx hawkeye came with un-equal length headers as they all do apart from as said above.
i changed the oem headers for stainless steel headers and has a deeper burble sound now than before with just having the turbo back decat exhaust system.

I have a STI 2.5 litre with full de -cat and get a nice deep growl from the exhaust but my neighbours WR1 has a great burble, like a bup bup bup if you know what I mean and I think it sounds a lot better than mine both cars have a prodrive back box so why do they sound so different is it just because of the engine size ????
