Would someone be able to point me to a good buying guide for a wrx / Sti. What to look out for and what to check ?

I know this is a pretty general question, mileage for age of vehicle, points to check , noises to listen out for. I had a wagon a couple of years back which I sold and have just parted with a 1972 VW camper van so looking to get another Wrx. To be honest I have been pretty lucky with cars so far, more luck than knowledge. If anyone can point me in the right direction as I know the grief I will get if I spend aload of cash on a complete wreck.
