Tommi Makinen Evo VI >>> Hawkeye STi
Hi guys.
I've recently bought a mint year 2000 Tommi Makinen Evo VI with only 20,000 on the clock:
Back in the Evo fold... My Tommi Mak - Mitsubishi Lancer Register Forum
I've got a hankering however for a Hawkeye STi in either Black or White.
The Tommi Mak is just so mint that I'm almost scared to take it out and it's just sitting in my garage getting waxed all the time! (which sort of defeats the purpose of the car).
Has anyone gone from an Evo VI to an STi or the other way around?
Any advice or recommendations?
Cheers!

My son went from an STi PPP to an EVO IX FQ320 Reckons he would never go back!
I LOVE the EVO VI
That is a classic EVO The only Hawkeye that could possibly ever reach that status is the RB320

What was the point of buying it then if your not driving it ??? Just sell up and buy the EVO you will drive if thats the car you like? Failing that buy a hawkeye spec C and that will cheer you up a little

Thats one sweet Evo!
can see both sides of the arguement regarding wrapping it in cotton wool and using it for the purpose it was built for though. If it were me I`d probably use it at weekends in good weather but never commute in it or park it in town, supermarkets etc.
IF its not to rude asking, how much did the brembo refresh cost you?

As long people are keeping these type of cars out of the scrapyard, does it really matter what they do with them?, I've always fancied a Muira in the front room just to look at!!

Each to thier own i guess. I love them in white, but not so sure about that, especially with the wheels. The TME is such an original looking car, I would get a really nice standard (looking ) hawkeye personally.

i know thguy that is selling this and can vouch for the authenticity of his advert. it IS a stunning car and considering its low mileage, immaculate bodywork and money spent on mods, the asking price is VERY fair. i actually recommended it to a mate the other day who keeps saying he wants a scooby, but says he wants an evo now, think he is a bit of a bollshatter

After seeing alternative angles of this car I have decided that it's just TOO modified for my liking.
I am looking for a mint, fairly standard, low miler White Hawkeye but am having trouble finding any for sale.
I have found a 2006 Black Hawkeye locally that seems to be in very good condition at a very good price.
£11,000 and 36,000 miles.
The downsides are that the car has 4 previous owners and has been imported from Cyprus.

You need to be looking around the £14k mark for a good example.
