After nearly three years since I last had a scoob, which I sold for something German, I finally picked up my new scoob on Friday night and I LOVE IT!!!!
Spent most of the weekend valeting the thing as it was absolutely minging inside (and out!). I've never seen anything like it but needless to say, dirt, food and stains can be cleaned and she's been returned to the state she should be in and is like new now!!![Luxhello](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/luxhello.gif)
Heres the details:
FSSH
New Brembo grooved and drilled Front & Rear Discs & Red Stuff Ceramic Pads
Tein Progressive lowering springs
Walboro 255 fuel pump
K&N panel filter
Firestorm equal length headers
Firestorm up-pipe
Firestorm decat downpipe
Firestorm decat centre section
WR Sport back box
Mapped by Jolly Green Monster to 340 bhp / 345 ft torque (June 2009)
Really happy with it, pulls really well, handling is spot on with the Tein springs and stops really well too![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Plans for it:
change the back box
change turbo
FMIC
large cone induction
FPR
Uprated clutch (when the current one goes)
and lightened flywheel
SimTek
Best get saving!!!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Thanks guys ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
In terms of cosmetics.... detango is def on the cards along with the black headlight mod, front lip, black STI mudflaps, vortex generator and some 18's
As I'm also 'supposed' to be saving for my wedding, it wont all happen over night (unfortunately)![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Cheers Tony, couldnt find a decent JDM version so opted for a mildly tuned and modded TUK. I nearly went for Turbodean's Type R but after speaking to him in a bit more detail about the car I felt it was 'a little over' in terms of cost.... especially compared to the deal I got on this 53 plate..... bargin!!!

Nice one Jay_bee , car looks awsome.. and with 340 horses
plenty, off staying power up against any JDM's too.
Look like you got yourself a great deal and 'black' too, my preference also...![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Shame we didin't get to see any pics of the car in the "before" state..
Here's hoping i find one as good and as niceley modded as yours....![Cry2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cry2.gif)
PS- thanks for the PM , have replied.

340 will do for the moment but I certainly dont intend keeping it at that level for too long but I have quite a long shopping list
![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I was very tempted by all sorts of stuff but I think the best advice is just sit tight, the right one will come along that ticks all the boxes. I said right from the off I wanted a black (or white which was first choice) but very nearly got a blue one (nothing wrong with but, just not my preference on the Bug & Blob for some reason). I almost paid the same for one that didnt have any mods other than a backbox, as I paid for this in the end. So trust me, just hang on and resist settling or making do cos the money is burning a hole, it'll be worth the wait.

As for taking pictures of what it was like before.... I would have been too embarrassed. It was GRIM. Now, I know JGM has been in obviously, but I dont know at what stage Terry (the previous owner - a top bloke, and in no way am I having a pop at him - just thought I'd point that out
![Nono](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/nono.gif)
As I said in my PM, I'll keep my eyes peeled at Elvington on Sunday to see if there are any good looking ones being advertised there.
Jeff
PS. Cheers to JGM for confirming he had mapped the car etc etc
