Default Maf cleaner Any good??

MAF cleaner for Subaru Impreza WRX STi Forester Legacy on eBay (end time 16-Sep-09 23:50:23 BST)



Found this on ebay,anyone used this at all or know anyone who has??

what do you think?

Snake oil. There's no point paying over the odds for something like this - a general solvent like brake cleaner will clean an airflow sensor element just as (or more) effectively.

Also, bottom line is that if your airflow meter is under-reading/showing signs of being knackered, and assuming you're using a decent air filter, chances are dirt isn't to blame in the first place, and therefore "cleaning" isn't going to help much.

Once a month I take my MAF out & use Wynn's Fuel injector intake & Carb Cleaner.

I spray it on a Cotton Bud, then gently apply, I also put a squirt up the tube.

I then take out my cotton filter & brush that out, it keeps the airflow good & I feel a difference & benefit.

You can get Wynn's @ Halfrauds & other Car part places.
