Question Dubious Dyno Reading

Someone I know used the dynolicious application on their iPhone and got the following reading for a MY04 WRX PPP (which, as I understand it has std 265BHP before drivetrain loss) How on earth can the below be even close to being correct?

Setting made in application:
Vehicle Weight: 3300lbs
Drivetrain Loss: 16%

Output of application as above
Summary Average of Runs:
0 - 60 MPH 6.52 sec
1/4 mile 14.38 sec @ 119.6 MPH

roflol

So it took him 3.74s to get to 60ft.... I could run 60ft faster than that! And then went on to do 119.7mph terminal speed.

Legend!

Yeah - It was apparently on a "private" 2 lane road with traffic in the left hand lane - I have no idea if 119.7mph terminal is Good / Bad or Indifferent. What I seriously doubt is the peak HP more than anything else!

120mph terminals would need circa 500bhp in a Newage.... go figure.

Apart from the 60ft, as I can't account for driver skill, the rest of the figures are a joke for a 265bhp WRX, apart from the ET of 14+'s.

So - IF the readings are correct - his car is actually running far more than the Standard 265BHP. He bought it 2nd hand. Wonder if previous owner put some mods on / chipped etc? Hmm - He's getting a bit cocky about it. What sort of times would you expect for the 0 - xxmph and distance breakdowns for a std 265 model?

Theres NO way he hit 120 at the 1/4 mile as far as I could tell.

Maybe the 0-60 is correct, every other figure there is meaningless and incorrect, he must have plugged in incorect values while setting it up.

Or the iphone/touch wasn't secured properly. This is what usually gives skewed results.

Oh and did he factor in his own weight, no

Weight and transmission losses look too low but will flatter the figures even more when corrected.
0-60 is slow but then it hits 100 way too fast.

Book times for the car are:
0-60 4.8 secs
0-100 14.1 secs
1/4 mile in 13.7 secs.

Yeah, I had this on mine and registered 2500mph+ walking to the coffee machine once calibrated if it is tilted at all that will give all sorts of strange readings
