Hello

Picked up my 330s a couple of weeks ago and on day 1, the drivers seat started to squeak after sitting in it for about 30 mins.

I adjusted it up / down and it went but then again after 30 mins, started doing it again.

Anyone else had this problem? I apprecaite that I'm a salad dodger but at 5' 8'' and 13.5 stone, that's not too excessive!!!!

 

Not had that on mine. Got the Recaro's and find them O.K.

Is the creak from the seat itself or is it perhaps just loose through the bolts that attach to floor ?

Either way get the dealer to sort through the warranty.

 

Hadn't thought about the seatbelt. Pretty sure it's the seat and it goes back on tomorrow to be looked at...just thought I'd ask on here if anyone else has had the problem.

 

Mine does the same bud car go`s in next Monday for some fault checks and my seat is bloody annoying squeeks like a bast!!

can anyone tell me if you can get hold of those recaro's fitted to the 330s?

or are they a dealer supply only if so any idea on cost

I had the same on my standard 2009 STi seats - I don't know if they are the same.

Two parts of the seat contact when it is in the lowest position. I adjusted it to the highest setting, and put a strip of sponge tape on the metal rail. All can be viewed from the back of the seat.

It has worked a treat - just hope that you have the same seat base, then it might work for you.

 

Mine squeaked a little at first, then it went, and now it squeaks alternate Tuesdays...

Seriously tho. my squeak went by itself although it murmurs now not even once a week.

Maybe taking wallet out of back pocket will help you sit square (seriously), I found with the tight fit of the recaros my wallet would cause me to sit a little skiwiff...

I'd put up with the squeaks!

 

Thought they came as standardon Sti's. The 1 I looked at in the dealers had recaro's.

 

Standard seats on STi's I think, the 's' got recaros, but I don't know for sure.

53wrx yes you are right the ones above were fitted to the 330 as far as i know and the euro cars as they were basicly the 330 without the prodrive engine pack as they came with the push start, recaros and satnav i think

 

That's correct Stevie. The Euro premium spec cars have the Recaro's and other bits. To bring a premium car up to 330S spec just need to add the PPP.

 

Come off it fellas. I can't afford to do all the upgrade you lot are doing...can only just afford to pay for the car. Can't you leave me to the seats and make do with what you've got??? LOL.

 

Anyone know what the stealers are charging for these
