facelift advice

Default facelift advice

have fitted facelift bonnet, headlights and grille.....

however the bonnet scoop inside bit is straight and my tmic is angled, does this matter?

i have the inner peice from my old bonnet but screw holes do not line up the same

Just re-drill the screw holes on your old air vent, or fit a later type intercooler, it will fit the new scoop and be a good upgrade. Did this upgrade on my V2 STI with a V5 STI tmic and it runs so much cooler and is ready for future power upgrades!!

thanks, was thinking of another tmic....how easy is it to do, mine is the old angled style, is a straight one a direct replacement or will i need to modify anything

It's a bit of a squeeze and you'll need a set of samco hoses to restore the dump valve position. I had to hammer down the engine mount shroud and take a few mill of the throttle body, but apart from that no worries. I think there's a fitting guide on the forum aswell!!
