Got my basically standard MY99 mapped by Simon on Wednesday .. which happened to be my birthday. He managed to get a safe 262bhp, with a pannel filter and a decat exhaust.
I don't know much about modification ... which is clear but Simon took the time to explain each step to me and tell me what he was doing at each step.
He also took the time out to go over my car and give it a safety check.
He was calm and polite and made the experience interesting and enjoyable, there is a lot of competition for mappers now but I have no regrets and would recommend him without a second thought.
As for the cost, when you take into consideration the licence cost, the cost of travelling, all of his equipment and his time what seems like a large amount is actually less than most people on here charge for their day to day jobs.
My ECU died and Simon replaced it at his cost ..
Thank you Simon .. I hope to be seeing you again soon

Happy b'day for Weds, glad you got what you wished for. Its my boy's b'day today, he got a BMX! Good to see a post praising and not damning a tuner, Im contemplating using him when the itch for a remap gets too itchy to scratch!

Good isn't he, how did you sleep with the big grin on your face....
When Simon finished mine about 11 PM., and he went off to find a hotel, and I went for a blast up and down the A1.
Enjoy, you'll soon want a VF35 and 330 bhp !
LOL
