Default Black speckles after exhaust change

Hi all,

I changed the standard rear box and resonator to a secondhand ninja 2 and de-resonator pipe about 3 month or so ago.
Ever since, I get black speckles all over the back of the car, it's silver so shows up.
It seems to be dust or something, not wet etc.

Any ideas?

Carbon from the exhaust fumes.... fine, so don't worry about it.

Any reason why it's only happened with the ninja exhaust and not the original?

Either the car that the secondhand system came from was running as rich as **** and you have a lot of carbon build up in the silencer baffle, or the non resonating section is not catching as much crap as your resonated section was perhaps.

The car is only 3 years old so I hope it's not from the engine etc. Is there anyway of cleaning out the back box?

You alter anything and it will affect the engine, yours may be using a bit more fuel, and some of it is causing this.

IMHO
