Default new tyres

time to get two new front tyres,ive heard that toyo t1r is a great tyre can anyone confirm this for me before i buy please
these are the ones im looking at for my04 sti

Try a search in wheels tyres and brakes section. Plenty of opinions there.

they were good on my astra 888 (FWD) but seem mixed reviews on here about grip levels when pushed ?!?!? good value for money though compared to most others...im in same dilema about tyres mate

i found that the t1rs were good tyres,the vredesteins sessentas were better and the toyo r888 are exellent.

RE070's You get best of both worlds track and road
don't believe what you here about them in the wet I can ashore you they are great. Only down side is that they track the rut's in the road a bit when they get worn.

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta here, used them staright after T1Rs and they are a much better tyre IMO

the r888 are great on road and track, but you will find they are quite noisy on the road.

Originally had RE070's then tried F1 assymetrics now just bought 4 new RE070's love em, excellent grip and they look the part
not toyo's but my tyre choice

Should you not be getting the same tyres as you have on the rears and be changing all 4 at once. That is why you should rotate the tyres front to back

PS GY F1 Asymetrics for all weather, RE070s for the summer.
