super quick response please...
off to GGR in half hour...im having EBC grooved discs fitted but do i have either EBC redstuff pads to match or mintex 1155 pads??? need answer quick please, im new and dont know which to have (wont do track just fast road )

i found my mintex fade after the second round about of a "private" 3 mile duel carrage way!! im using mintex drilled groved disks too!

i had redstuff there great if u dont plan on tracking the car. also a little wooden when cold. general appearance on here is go with ferodo ds2500 or ds3000 neither are cheap but last a wheel and bite like a shark at all temps

If you want my honest opinion...... Both your choices of pad are the cheap end of the market and in this area you definatley "get what you pay for" so therfore they are both S**t, but if I HAD to put one of those in my car then I would go for the Mintex.
You really ought to think about a better pad if you want to get the best from your upgrade, The most popular and proven pad would be the Ferodo.

Redstuff pads and there awfull discs lasted about 3 months on my old uk turbo....
This was about 7-8 years ago though, so hopefully they will have improved......

well got back after having my discs and pads fitted...took two hours from getting there till i left but...generally very nice guys (a lot of ford cosworths etc)...anyway ive got ebc grooved discs with mintex 1144 pads (even though i asked for 1155)...is it worth ringing and saying i want the 1155's instead...or not worth the hassle (only road use not track)

performance friction for me. although i have had mintex on a diffrent car and the diffrence from standard was amazing tbh. never had ferodos so i would not know but anyone that has compared PF v Ferodos, which is best? (just so i know for next time.) nice 1.
