Anyone had a Power Steering Pump Fail on a Newage ?
I can't believe it my Power steering pump failed on my Newage. I have never heard of 1 go yet to be honest.
Still pumped fluid but not up to the pressure it should be.
Easy fix though and found 1 for good money.
I am just miffed as never heard of them going on a Newage before and normally bomb proof!

I know someone who had a pump that was a bit weak, played up at Cadwell and the 1st round of Scoobysprint.

Cheers Dunx, I think I am just unlucky as it's seeming to be a rare thing! LOL

You sure it is the pump ? I had the same symptoms but turned out to be the lower steering joint had got fried because I had removed the cat with heat shield from the down pipe .... new joint and a fabricated heat shield and all is now good.

I think *Nate*'s one failed IIRC and he replaced it with a Blobeye setup.

Make sure your steering rack isn't bent 1st mate, Get the front wheels off the ground and see if it turns side to side with no problems at all,
