Default Flying Lap of The Nurburgring.

Ok this is the first time i have ever filmed myself going round The Ring, and i know it is not in the scooby but i was trying out the Evo and have to say it is not the car for me

I had only driven the car for about 200 miles before i hoped in the seat at the circuit, Being a scooby man the Evo X Fq360 felt very jittery and nervous by comparison.
Last time i drove a Evo i almost ( well did ) leave the road in reverse on a tight left.
It has to be said that i would not want one over a Impreza Rb320 which for me is still one of the best all round cars out there ( sorry )

Anyway not the best quality it never seams to hold the quality when transfered to youtube

Anyway here goes, and please don't rip my lines apart too much.

YouTube - Nurburgring July 09 in a Evo X 360 from www.opentrack.co.uk driving

Was that the RMA trackday?

Lines look OK I turn in a little later for the Fuchsrohle, using the shed on the right and white marker board next to the armco as a turn in point and gives more of a straightline through I found and I noticed you kept a tight line on the approach to Pflanzgarten where I stay out to right allowing a few extra mph/margin for error on the exit if going in too hot.

Looks like a biggish fluid spill on the exit of Bergwerk, was that from the trackday?

Yep it was the Rma day, a good event but just to much of a pain in the bum with local traffic all trying to get to the Gp on the same day.

That fuel spill was oil from a Porker so i heard, which happened in the morning all in a a good day.
A good Car but not my "Cup of Tea" it just felt so slittish on the track but it pulled like a train !

I've done a couple of private trackdays at the Ring in the past but having a Jahreskarte I've not bothered for a while now.

Nice to see a video from a trackday rather than the usual crap videos from handhelds during Touristfahrten.
