as above the square switch on the top of the steering cowl what is this for? its a uk turbo

Switches on the sidelights if you park up on a main road.... also a running joke on here !

I only found this out when I had my car cleaned at the local carwash and got home and couldnt work out why my lights wouldnt go off....what was sad is that i had to call the previous owner and ask him how to turn them off and he informed me about the switch

this had me baffled too when i got my first subaru!! lol again i had to ask somebody what it was for!

funny thing was not long after i got the classic, i had parked and come in the house, bout 10 mins later neighbour knocks my door to tell me the lights are on,
anyway was out there pressing every button etc, couldnt figure out why the sidelights were still on, done a search on here and this thread came up, felt like a right div lol
