Default Bad reception on stereo

Hi folks.

Iv recently had a sony stereo fitted but the reception is shocking and I cant receive many stations (my original wasnt very good tbh).
Just wondered if there is a fix to this without having another aerial fitted.

Yes i have good quality plugs etc but like I say the original one was poor at the best of times, will give a booster a try.

Where is the aerial, is it incoporated in the rear window glass?

If youve got the ariel in the rear glass as I have theres not a lot you can do to improve the reception. I had the same problem in the WRx and still got it in the STi any decent ice installers will tell you that ariels in the rear window are pants even on mercs.
Sorry that doesent really help apart from stopping you spending money on boosters etc, the only way round it is to fit an external ariel.
Good luck
