Question How much are my original 17" STI wheels + tyres worth?? Pics inside..

Just sold my STI with some aftermarket Speedline alloy wheels on.

I still have the original wheels that came on the car from new..

2006 STI 17" Gold alloys with Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tyres.

The wheels are in great shape with only a few marks on one of the wheels. And the tyres only have about 14,000 miles on them.

What do you think theyre worth? Im going to stick them on Ebay but have no idea what to ask for them!

Thanks

I paid £150 for a set the other year that needed the tyre's replacing. These were the bug sti wheels so would fit a classic. If the tyres have a good amount of tread left I'd say you'll get £250 - £300. Someone no doubt will try and offer you £75 and tell you it's a good deal though

£150-£175 tops tbh. No-one wants them because they only fit the MY car they came off. Great wheels just devalued because of their limited application.

I recently bought a mint set for £100 with Bridgestones

I could of had at least 3 sets since at around the £150 price, but I'm on the wagon so to speak

There are a couple of sets on pistonheads at £200 and £250, but have been on their ages. I am looking for a set at the moment but only looking to pay around £150.

you don't say if they are JDM or UK spec? They have a different colour and tyre size on the two versions.

Are you guys sure that you can get new wheels for a STI for £50.00 ???
It sounds very cheap to me, as it cost about that to get them refurbished, I just cant see Litchfields doing them that cheap can someone confirm

u wont get them brand new as they come from damaged cars, however he may have almost new wheels ,all depends on the condition of the alloys

Litchfields advertise the wheels usually as being off of new cars that have had wheel upgrades, so I guess in most circumstances that they are in good condition.

drtchock, sorry mate. No intension of hyjacking the thread, although hopefully it has now given you an answer to your original question as to the value of your wheels. It seems whilst some are asking £200 - £250, more realistically they can be bought for less.
