Default Which can i put on before re-map ??

i have the usual upgrades sat in my garage waiting untill i have enough cash to get it mapped; downpipe, up-pipe, centre pipe, backbox, air filter, walbro.

i wont have enough money for a re-map for another month or so yet ( its 2 for 1 on the ferries !! ), so can i put any of them on now ? or should i really wait until like a day or so before it is mapped ?

cheers nick

centre pipe, backbox, filter and walbro no need to remap...you may be able to put the downpipe on too but not recomended.. you wont get the full potential unless you remap with the downpipe..and overboost is a problem when its not mapped

i think its best to fit and remap asap ...because you dont want a blown engine , better safe than sorry

At worst don't go trying to outrun the police....

If you drive it sensibly, no thrashing, it will be fine, mine ran faultlessly for several months till it was mapped.

well think i might leave the rest, but will the fuel pump be ok to be put on ?

im sure mines on its way out, coughs and splutters sometimes, but id rather run the old possibly knackered one than put the new one on and do even more harm ??

cheers nick

Change the fuel pump if you feel like you need to its the regulator that adjusts the fuel not the pump.
