Hi guys,

New to this forum and new to Subaru's! I just got my 03 STi,standard car and have a couple of questions to seek advice on,

is it a must to run optimax or equivelant?

how long is reccomended to warm the car thru before setting off?

and also how long to let it cool down before turning it off?

that's all for now,I'll post some pic's tommorow and any other questions that come to mind.

Thank's guys,

Ben

Hi fella im new to the subaru scene but im sure others would agree only to run on optimax proven the highest octane we can buy, i set off from cold but drive very steady/off boost and dont exceed 3k for atleast 15-20mins before the oil is upto temparature i have a turbo timer wired into the alarm and lets it idle for 2mins

I believe in just driving the car off boost for a couple of miles before stopping and starting from hot and cold, If you get what I mean
V power for me as well for some reason a lot of people on here don't rate the BP stuff, a lot run on the Tesco 99 as well.
