Default looking for a scooby

hi folks i am after a scooby and as i havent owned one before i was wondering what are the things i should be looking at, what goes wrong with them and the weak point i shoild be looking for before i purchase one

generally speaking the weakest point on a Scooby is the owners wallet lol

PistonHeads.com :: Speed Matters as a starting point, then the rest is all the usual bits, service history, bin dodgy uprgaded cars, the list is pretty endless, certain years suffer different problems, ie 97/98 cars suffer from piston slap, 99/00 suffer with weak maf sensors.
Are you after a jap import or a uk car?
