Driving along enjoying my Scoob....look down at the ODO....TICK 100,000 kms rolls over. I think "thats okay"....time to give the Scoob a birthday methinks. Go into the local dealer....
Gerg: G'day. Book me in for the 100,000 km (60,000 mile) service.
Service Manager: No problems. Its a major service so that'll be $1200 dollars thanks. Plus we replace the cam belt as well at 100,000...thats $250 extra.
Gerg: "VOMIT" Ahh sorry m8...left me wallet at home. I'll be back in a minute.......SLAM.....SCREEEEEEEEECH.
....so here I am, asking is this right? How much does everyone else pay in all the corners of the world? $1450 AUS is like 700 odd pounds or something right?
PS Conversion rates welcome

Obviously at 100,000Km's your warranty has expired so why take it to a main dealer?
I personally would have all the oily bits changed by a local family run garage who do this for the love, but entrust the cambelt change to the Dealer or a Subaru specialist, because you need to know what your doing with these.
Hope this helps.

Just had a 60k miles service done on my Legacy RS for around £575. I reckoned that was OK considering it included replacing the timing belt and fan belt, oil air and fuel filters, spark plugs, plus engine gear and axle oils. Parts cost £286, oils cost £72 and labour was £217 (well, Labour has always cost me a lot of money ). False economy to drive a performance car and then skimp on the maintenance .... (IMHO)
