Hi guys can some one tell me the approx bhp my car is
The car is a 1995 v2 wrx sti
only mods are
Juns equal length headers
Juns 3 inch s/t system
Decatted
Apexi induction kit
Also i have noticed the car has pink trailing arms and pink lateral arms on the rear, are these standard ?
I have heard conflicting figures on standard bhp, someone told me 275 and another 280

I might not be correct but I believe the standard figure is 280PS which works out around 276bhp.

However, at 14 years old, even with the mods you may only be making standard power or less.

 

The pink bits ,as far as i know,were extras offered by STI and are the same as normal ones except for the colour and they have uprated bushes.

275ps is the official power figure (about 270bhp) but as Fantom said not likely to be hitting that now.

 

my car is 16 years old and standard apart from a back box and it made 245bhp on the rollers. its only 240ps from the factory. i dont doubt that if the engine is in good working order it should be producing approx 275+ bhp. 275ps was indeed the offcial power when released. You must use super unleaded fuel to achieve this power.

 

275PS standard. There wasnt a 1995 WRX STI though. Is it a 1996 model year car? The applied model number will end 4ED if its an STI (the age identifier will be 'C' - the same for a '95 as a '96 unfortunately).
