Default aaahhhhhhhh!

OMG just got my first scoobie after a lifetime on bikes... first impressions... miles more fun. Must be one of the best kept secrets outside of the petrolhead world! Why do people spend all that wonga on fast cars when they can get one of these practically free! (2004 sti). Wow is all I can say, when do you get used to all that performance, and when do your neighbours quit with the funny looks and strange comments (afterburner exhaust!) I think I will be keeping it a very long time... will post some pics before and after when I work out how... It came with the full graphics kit, and after following a few threads on here i decided to take them off... looks nicer without I think but for some reason a bit slower!

Love that shape scoob,(known as blobeye round these parts). That's the model I'd have given the choice , and some money! Great car mate.

Hey amego

I think you may well have a point, it seemed to go down fairly sharpish after I gave it some full throttle through the gears leaving the toll barriers last night on the way to the airport. Worth every penny in petrol... not sure if i´ll be saying that in a few months when im skint! Wot type of real world mpg can i expect?

I'd say 25ish if you drive normally. You don't want to be hammering it everywhere anyway do you!? Give us scooby drivers a bad name!

its fun vs petrol consumption, fun wins every time, i watch mine plummet as i snick through the gears on open stretches of roads, its all part of the fun, you dont get 200+hp turbo to do any decent mpg, i was used to near on 80mpg average in my old chipped passat tdi on a long run, what a come down, but worth every penny

full throttle >>>>> 0.0000000000000

low 20's maybe less!

grampy driving high 20's maybe more. depends on car set up as well

If its not below 20, you're stuck in traffic.

What you going to do with you leathers?
I suppose you can still wear them down the gay bar.

Ha ha superstar1 that was funny, didn't think about that, anyone want to buy a set of dainese t-age in black and silver, perfect for any gay bar cruisers out there, or in fact bikers! Getting back on topic when will I get bored of paying my 5 euros for the malaga toll road and going totally flat out on it? and will it all end badly? Big questions, and finally worked it out at 18mpg not too bad i suppose!

Dont do too many top speed runs for long periods of time or it may all end in tears.

I love my Impreza but it just isn't as much fun as being out on the bike. I think there are very few, if any, cars that can involve you as much as when you are riding.

Best to have both

Love the car and only had it a few days, but the bike is more fun when the weather is good anyway (think that was a Tues this year)
