How many Miles to a full tank??
#2
I'm getting roughly 300 to a tank of V-Power, running fairly standard, no re-map (standard non-mappable ECU - bummer) with different exhaust (not a de-cat though) and HKS induction kit.
Hoping to get a re-map next year (after some choice mods) so will be interesting to compare with what I'm getting now

Had my UK classic about 3 weeks now..... first week i was getting about 200 (due to some rather enthusiastic driving) but now i'm up to about 250-270 depending on how much motorway i've been doing. Get more miles the more mway i do, as i sit at 60mph trying not to let the turbo spool up.
That's with standard 95ron fuel and a decat exhaust, sti panel filter but no remap.

2004 STI blobeye JDM full tank about 280-300 slow driving, about 200 hard driving (not too hard) or hard driving 150. On Tesco 99 unleaded. Aftermarket exhaust plus after market airfilter, otherwise standard.

difficult to say on a 'full tank'. do you mean until you run out of fuel on the side of the road?
Best I ever got in a scooby was 37mpg on a blistering hot summer day, cruising at 50mph on the motorway. That was in my my99 uk classic, decat exhaust and a tek 2 map.
Worse was 18mpg in my my98 sti with a decat exhaust, but then again, the best I got was 23mpg!
On average over the 3 scoobs I had, I'd say around 23-25mpg. Far more accuarate than saying how many miles you got to a tank.

Last tank was 129 miles. I fill up every time which is around £60 on v power. My car is an 06 hawkeye sti running 350/380. I average around 160/170 miles from every fill up which i feel is a disgrace seeing as i am just driving off boost to and from work. Cold starts and short journeys contribute to the low mpg i guess. Ho Hum it's all worth it to have such a nice car that i enjoy all year round.

Average/mixed driving 22mpg
Hard ~18mpg
Off boost m/way (80ish) cruise 31mpg..!!!
So taking 13gal as a usable 'tankfull' works out between 230 to 400..
05 wrx remapped/decatted 350ish bhp
V-power+NF
TBH until I recently achieved the 31mpg (summer holiday to north Yorkshire) I'd have never believed it possible and 26 was absolutely the max..!
Comes down to your right foot. A boost gauge makes a very useful economy meter..
