Most Nova owners try this, I think that's why they look so crap! personally I'd pay the extra and get it done properly.

Personally, I'd get it fitted by professionals - as that way you are also covered against blistering/peeling for a year or so.

You pays yer money and you takes yer chances...

For those in the Surrey area, I can get the arrange for your tint to be done by a company made up of X-pentagon engineers..

And the cost is £200 for a saloon (thats front/rear side windows and rear window)

Email me if you are interested.

HANDY HINT: Setting fire to your lower sills gives a nice smoked tint effect on all windows...

£200 is a pretty good price.

Pentagon are very good for tinting, so if Alex's contacts are ex-Pentagon they should be good (as long as they didn't leave due to gross incompetence).

Exclamation

Depends if you want it to look like bubble wrap or not.......no slur on your d-i-y capabilities but it is notorious to fit well unless you do it for a living.

Lee,

I've done a few cars many years ago,its easy enough if you take ya time and keep things clean.I took all my windows out and did em in a steamy bathroom to keep the dust away, most air bubbles come from bits between film and glass so you have to get the glass spotless first and then seal the edges when its totally dry.
I had one car tinted for 6 years no probs at all,no bubbles or peeling.Looked a lot better than any pro done car i'd seen and most people told me that as well.
You can get kits ready cut to size as well and there not too dear.

Cheers

Ditto bob at the end of the day you'll probably spent the same amount after you include the bits that didn't go right so you had to replace , i think it'll be somewhere round the £200 mark for a decent company to do it

Unhappy

But dont forget that if they dont comply to Construction and Use regs with regard to light transmission you'll have the Old Bill on your back and your hard earned cash will be wasted!!

AWD, they've done two of my cars and three friends cars, awesome job each time.

Product used is the same as what Pentagon use. Both armour and non-armour versions.

MrCookie - do not mention this to the people you are talking about (3rd party), as this is an arrangment I have with them (the tinters) direct, if you get my drift, cuts out a 3rd parties profit And benefits you guys, email me

You aint seen me right!
