Ebay Whats going on!!!
I do admittadley spend alot off time on ebay when im bored at work.
So far in one week iv corrected 2 people that there cars were WRXs and not stis. one i was actually going to buy before i asked on here.
And now im sat trying to work out how so many people Value there classic WRXs at 5000+ obvousley stis etc are in a different league.
Please some one tell me that im not a tight bugger, i bear no judgement on the car listed below nor do i wish to taint any ones judgement on it it is just 1 example.

cant belive some ppl, i have a 99 classic, 71000 miles and i wouldnt expect to sell mine 4 sort of half that price, tbh though feel more sorry 4 the person that would buy the car at that price

some people just dont realise depreciation etc,i can see their point, i bought my wrx for £4k,probaly sepnt £2k on upgrades and £1k on servicing clutch/flywheel etc so thats £7k,but if i sold it id get if lucky £3k at best, but if you just drive cars not knowing about them, some would advertise mine spending the above for say £6k

If your going to buy try to stick to places like this, The prices tend to be realistic and a club car is normally a safer option than an auction car.
That red thing looks a bit gash IMO, looks about 3k overpriced too.

Cant belive that some people plough money in to a car and then expect to get it back when it comes time to sell. Even if it has very low milage (30k or less) it wont sell at that price. Unless there is someone looking for that "style"

Oh come on guys how can you not see the £5k worth in that car?? It's got colour coded carpet mats and a snow plough for wintertimes on the front. pfffffffffttttttttt some people will never understand value for money

Thats been butchered
My price guild for normal classics that havent been chaved up
£1000 - £2000 = fooked or close to needing major work, high mile rust bucket/none runner.
£2000 - £3000 = semi decent, might just need a bit of tlc here and there or you could get lucky and get a minter with the someone not knowing what they are worth in bits
£3000 - £4000 = should be getting you a really good faultless example of this classic rally car
£4000+ you should be getting a big spec flying machines with £1000's being spent on performance goodies if std it would have to be like new with very low miles.
End of the day you get what you pay for i wouldnt sell my 93 Type RA for less than £3000 with me being able to get more than that for it breaking it. but id never sell it anyway, love the RA's
