looking at buying a forester but before i chosse i need more info ie

would i be better looking at low milage new cars or higher milage older models
what mpg should i expect
what are the tax bracket points on them
and other benefit between manual or auto

difference between awd and the normal spec

what the letters mean xt xts xten

basicly any help would be appreciated
my son has the subaru impreza turbo wrx import i like the engine layout and torque and want something similer but taller and more modest for a 60 yr old
