Being JDM it might not have the same alarm fitted as Type UK cars. Is there a seperate alarm "fob" or single button key that locks/unlocks and arms/disarms?

If single button key it'll have had the UK OEM key mod done and will be same alarm as Type UK (Sigma M30) in which case a press of the button on the key prior to switching off ignition will disable the interior ultrasonic sensors on arming. Can also be done by pressing "2" on the key pad. Switching off the ultrasonics is a one time only event i.e. next time you arm/disarm they're switched on again.

Hope that's of some help,

Neil

Sorry guys

there is no button on the key!

There is a seperate alarm fob with one single button on it.

Any idea?

Thanks, steve

Is it a Sigma fob? And if so is it marked on the back - Type AC110?

If yes to both it'll be a Sigma M30 alarm and the data I posted earlier still applies except instead of pressing the button on the key before switching off ignition, press the button on the fob.

Neil.

Just looked at the back of the fob and it's an autowatch alarm

also mate I have tried just locking the door and the alarm still goes off within about 5 min tops.

Any thoughts

I take it the car is the Type 25 as per your signature? If so have you spoken to Iain Litchfield yet, I'm sure he'd be able to help assuming that they fitted the alarm in the first place.

Failing that, try here, they're the UK agent for Autowatch.

HTH,

Neil
