Are there any kits or off the shelf parts I can buy to relocate the power steering reservoir on a MY99 UK Impreza? Really don't like the way my silicon inlet pipe is wedged between it and the inlet manifold and I'm no good at DIY fabrications to make an adapter for the top of the pump.

Edit: Just done some more googling and found the one on RCM, so new question, are there any cheaper ones as that seems a bit steep just for a bracket and a plastic tank?

Fit a newage pump with remote resovoir. simples.

 

Is it a direct bolt on job then? Sounds like a good plan as my pump is making some noise and needs swapping anyway.

 

Need to be careful with newage pumps as there are two or three different types and you need the matching supply and HP send pipework, and usually a different mounting bracket, so not a direct bolt-on replacement, no.

If all you want to do is remote mount you can buy everything you need off the shelf from a dealer including the pipe fitting that bolts on top of the classic pump instead of the reservoir. Don't have the part numbers to hand but if you have a search around you'll find them.
