i have a private reg on my recently aquired sti ra...its M 500 WRX..(good plate for a 500hp scooby!!)....worth anything????....im in two minds as to wether to sell it and free up a wee bit of loot for the cars maintenence or keep it as it makes the car that wee bit more desireable come resale??..cheers fir any advice, gbn

sold a private plate on here once mate but the thing is plates are fetching f.all at the minute and in the present climate you would get no where near its value so you might as well keep it in my opinion.

Number Plates, Private Number Plates, DVLA Registrations - CHEAPEST!
They will give you a free valuation, they offer you a cut of what they advertise it for. Mine is similar sort of plate. Offered me £400 and it's for sale for £750. ot much I thought but the plate came with the car and didn't cost me extra.
I wouldn't look at a plate as adding a selling factor personally but up to you.
When mine sell's it will go straight to paying for some mods, :-)

couple of things....
big t5 do you not see the irony in your post, "in the present climate you would get no where near its value".
It's value is what it sells for.
The Grift, has your plate sold through this company yet? Do you not think that if you advertised it for £400 (and most importantly, it is worth that much) you would attract more buyers than it being on a website for £750?
