Default Inovit Wheels , Pics , Thoughts ?

Any one have a set of Inovit Redline wheels on there car. I have a Blobeye WRX and have the standard 17in Wheels on it at the moment. I really fancy a set of Prodrive PFF 7's. Problem being I dont want to spend so much on a set of wheels that will undoubtedly be destroyed by my local roads. I have seen that Inovit make a Redline wheel which looks VERY much like the prodrives and wondered if anyone has a set on there car with prodrive centre caps on ;P. I also quite like the look of the Inovit Tarmac wheels too and wondered if anyone one had these on theres.

Show me your pics if you have any, also any thoughts on Inovit wheels ?

Thanks folks as always, help is much appreciated.

Had a set on my p1 found them extremely weak even a slightest knock would produce a big chunk missing, someone once told me they are cheaper
due to the quality of alloy used that it is not a high grade or something hence the easy kurbing marks

I have a set on my 07 hawk wrx In matt black, and they look really really mean. Drive in London over potholes and cobbles, no problems so far.

Have them in white obviuosly lol....and love em..

Best thing about the Redline design is you can get your hand into the back of them with a sponge to keep them fresh...have had them on mine for 2 years without kerbing or damaging them at all...and have covered 45K in that time with NO issues, not even a flat tyre (kiss of death right there )

Oh, and as for centre caps, my local vinyl graphics place made me up some white vinyl circles with the pink STI logo to match them

They look good, BUT make no mistake these are cheap !

Best of the budget alloys are Rotas, depending on the size you want the SDR's are good as are the torques. By far the best idea is a wheel and tyre deal from someone like Rarerims, Rotashop etc.

Ive got a set of matt black redlines which have proved pretty good.I did originally buy a set of rims that i thought were redlines, they werent (spurious copies) and i found that one of the spokes had cracked from front to rear.Apparently, this is a well known problem with the copies.
Original redlines will have the name stamped on the side of the rims.
I paid about £350-£400 for a set of four.I was given the choice of centre caps-Prodrive being one of the choices and I got mine from Wheelmania in Birmingham.
You do get what you pay for though and you cant really compare them to a proper set of Pff7's!

I had a set of 18's on my turbo 2000 and didnt like them they marked really easy and more importantly they were really difficult to balance .I changed the tyres thinking they were at fault but made no difference ,ended up ok after some kind of more accurate/expensive balancing. They looked good but ended up getting rid, maybe i just got a bad set.

Thanks for your advice guys. I think I might try a set out, just gonna see what overtime comes my way before Christmas and I might be purchasing a set for my car. I think for the price they are definately worth a look at, even if they do turn out to be a little fragile then I wont have lost out on much.

I've got 18" Inovit Torque alloys on my hawkeye, never had any problems with them and still look like brand new after 18 months of use.

Im running 18" Redlines on my 97 wrx with no problems. Hit a pothole(crater) at speed and thought the wheel would be ruined but the rim was fine. Cant say the same for the tyre though. Paid £650 for mine.
