Default Is this site STILL acting up for you? PLEASE VOTE!

Timeouts? repeatedly having to click to get it to load?

Trouble is, IB THINK it's OK, with sporadic poor performance at the worst. Reality, for me at least, is VERY different: it's CRAP!

Since they tHINK it's OK, posts complaining go unanswered, or wait ages for a reply.

I think if enough people respond to this poll, they might take notice..........we can but hope.

Tell you what; email me what you want to post and I'll post it for you

Seriously, its difficult to appreciate other people's problem when I'm not having any speed or time out issues (barring the odd double post, no advertiser avatars and their user names going small - odd)

(ISPs Virgin media and BT business ).

I'm with Virgin, got 10Mb broadband, the site is AWFUL whether I use Firefox or IE8

Is it EVER going to be right again? If not, tell us now and we can go elsewhere. Thanks.

Have you done the ping tests like I asked?

It might mean nothing but at least its a basic thing to start on.

Seriously, I miss half the threads on here now as it takes so long to get into them.

Well stick to one thread instead of posting all over the place, I'm finding it hard to keep track now too; How many threads have you created on this subject?

Anyhoo, found it: https://www.scoobynet.com/bugs-featu...ml#post9068153

Ping: it pokes the target server and times how long it take to respond and notes if any data packets are lost during the journey. (tech term : "echo request" ).

Its a basic test to check for basic network connectivity to the target server.

Ali: I did those tests, it came back, but the black screen with the data on disappeared after about two seconds before I could read what it said, or copy it/copy it down.

I repeated it with no other programme running, same again.

Any other ideas?

To the best of my knowledge the issues we are having should be rectified.
If you are still having issues, try deleting your cache.

I'm about 3 miles from Jeff (Alcatraz) and also have V/media 10mb interwebnet. This morning at 7.00am it was awful (as in wouldn't load at all). Every other site (Facebook, 205gtidrivers etc) were loading fine. I've had issues a few mornings where Scoobynet refuses to load so I give up and you guys miss out on my wisdom

Cache has been cleared, I do it regular.
EVERY other site I use has no issues whatsoever. INSTANT loading of pages and any replies, just as this USED to be

Stop trying to make the problem ours, around 50% of those who responded to the above poll are having problems. Sort it out please, or admit you are defeated and we, (including some of your advertisers), will go elsewhere until you sell up to someone who WILL sort this mess

Adrian, Stu: earn your salaries please

I now hit ctrl+C before I post, as 50% of the time it doesn't work and I lose everything I've typed. Getting annoying now. It's understandable to have problems with something, but the performance of this forum is unacceptable.

Still as bad this morning: I've cleared the cache again, run Spybot, and Adaware, asked my AVG to have a look, run Disk Defragmenter, and Disk Cleanup, but it's still doing it.

Ages to load a page with varied numbers of timeouts, then, when posting a reply, tells you it timed out, but has actually posted around 50% of the time. The other 50% it needs ANOTHER try at posting as it REALLY DID timeout.

Come on Stu, someone...............HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPP! it's been three weeks now
