As some of you will remember I had a major issue with OPI which I posted here about being misled on renewal terms last time round.

Anyway, with two working days to my renewal they have written to me and said that my current underwriter will not cover me next year, and that after an 'extensive search' of the insurance marketplace they have been unable to find me a quote. They advised me to go elsewhere and gave me some 'phone numbers (complete with typos!).

I have full protected NCD, and the only change since renewal last year is a non-fault accident (first collision in over ten years) where there was minimal damage to my car! Oh, and the fact that I publicly shared my disatisfaction.

The best bit of course, is that I do have cover arranged by Mr Butler and it is actually with an underwriter on the OPI panel - so clearly they continue to talk complete bollox!!!!!
