Default 09 or not 09

Hi,
I am looking at this WRX 09 specified as follows:
Performance
Maximum Speed 130 mph
Acceleration (0-60mph) 6.5 secs
Max Torque 320 Nm
Cubic Capacity (cc) 2457 cc
Power (ps) 227 PS

But I read a lot of reviews saying the 08 impreza is a disappointment and the specifications for the new 09 are much better. Looking at the specs on this car registered in July 2009 - it looks like the less well reagrded 08 model - is this the case?

If its the car you want? That spec is irellevant as a few hundred pounds can change all those figures I'd be more concerned about the gearbox and brakes

as for if its the car I want - truth is I'm not sure - I was an instant convert to the classic Turbo 2000 when I drove it back in 2003,had to have it and bought same day. These new wrxs are very different. And now a salesman is trying to turn my head to a Focus ST 3, mmm leather...

very funny - have not had a chance to tell the difference yet, suspect it will show on the bendy bits.
