Default Alloys wheels question

I currently have 18" OZ Superleggera's on my Spec C track car (lookinf for 2 spares if anyone has any), I understand these along with Speedline Turini's are very light but of course expensive.

I have 3 questions about such wheels as Inovit - Tarmacs, these are much cheaper than the others, I can get 3 sets for the price of one but do not want to compromise

1. How heavy are these compared with the OZ's & Speedline's ?
2. How strong are they ?
3. Is the clearance for AP Brakes not a problem - 355mm ?

Advice & comments would be much appreciated

Cheers

might I suggest if this is your track car stock 16/17" alloys will make your car handle much better, or do you prefer it to look better than it handles?

or did the spec c come with 18"?

The car came with 18" running 235 40 18 Toyo R888, I had 18" Speedlines on my last spec C & they were fine.

You think 17" will handle better ??

speaking from previous driving experience of 18" alloys, when I moved down to the stock 16" size the handling was loads better. it occured to me after i posted it that your car maybe a new car that came with 18" alloys from new which will mean the car is setup with 18" wheels.

I did manage to trash a 19" OZ alloy, but it really took some doing...... and it cost me £200 to replace it ! I'm not sure you'd get a 17" wheel around a 355mm disc anyway ?
The Team Dynamics wheels can be sourced at a sensible price.

IMHO
